Our Communities Must Have A Trusted Voice On City Council
Cynthia Hedge Morrell will continue to be that voice.
She’s running for Council At-Large to make sure New Orleans continues moving in the right direction. Since the storm, Cynthia’s been on the front lines of the battle to save New Orleans, fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with neighborhoods and communities to rebuild the city we love.
Cynthia’s passion for her community didn’t begin on city council or in politics. She’s a lifelong educator, spending over 20 years as a teacher and principal at McDonogh #15 Creative Arts School. During her time as principal, McDonogh #15 was recognized by Red Book Magazine as one of America’s Best Schools.
“I’m running to continue the progress our city has experienced, while bringing renewed focus to creating jobs, improving education, and making our streets safer,”
“I’ve been proud to be part of the city’s leadership during our recovery and rebuilding. We’ve made real progress, but there’s still much left to do.”
Cynthia’s stood up and spoke up for us. She’s had our back. Now let’s get hers.
